I’m not happy with our new office layout
Our company experienced a huge growth of employees in the past few months and we’re running out of office space. All the meeting rooms in our floor are being converted into makeshift cubicles. In order to accomodate even more employees, the management decided to strip some parts of our cubicles and rearrange its layout.
For my friends who’ve been in this company before, here’s what it looks like now:
If you’re working at a call center you might think, “hey, it’s not that bad”. For someone who’s used to having their own cubicle and a bit of privacy for almost a decade now, it’s kinda difficult to be happy about the new layout. My team’s space can be seen directly from the elevator hallway. Can’t take a quick nap anymore without being seen. We look like we’re in an internet shop. All we need now are webcams. Sigh.
“Sir, time’s up na po… extend pa po ba kayo?”

Hmmm.. san ka nga ulit work, parang halos kamukha nun ofc namin sa mc kinley
calvin: hindi ko alam kung pwedeng sabihin. di ko rin nga alam kung pwede kong i-post yung photo ng office namin. pero sa headstrong ako nagwowork. ayan nasabi ko tuloy.
nyak.. pangit.. kita kayo sa hallway..
calvin: oo nga eh.

calvin: dun pa rin. kung san ka nanggaling. hehehe. new layout lang. not new office. misleading ata title.
uy headstrong. alam ko kung saan yan. hehe.
look at the bright side, at least you don’t have to worry about catching the elevator kasi isang tumbling lang from your seat nasa elevator ka na.
calvin: kaso lang, kita ako ng mga naghihintay sa elevator pag nangulangot. hehehe.
pano ang cubicle mo nakaharap directly sa corridor? tumbok sa pinto? di ba bad feng shui yun? lagyan mo ng bagwa hehehe
calvin: di naman, naka-angle pero kita ko rin kaagad yung corridor. hehehe gusto ko nga palagyan ng kurtina eh.

i remember ako yung first cube to the right on our aisle if your back is facing the elevator. tama ba? or was it noee? hehehe tagal na! kelangan mabalikan yung mga pics! si noee lagi nakatalukbong ng kumot 
calvin: ako yung kumuha ng pic from my spot. malapit ako sa windows sa may poste.

hay naku calvin bad trip talaga. nawalan na rin tayo ng privacy pag nag lalaro ng magic… tsk tsk eto pa masaklap next week dun na ako sa unahan mas lalong walang privacy, and everytime na my dumadaan sigurado mapapansin ko and nakaka istorbo kaya yun lalo na pag my ginagawa ka….
calvin: oo nga, kelangan natin ng bagong place. sayang talaga pwesto mo.
Eek! I am sorry to hear that Calvs. Naku hindi na pwede mag tago.. ahahaha, not that may kailangan ka namang itago..
calvin: hehe they put frosting on the doors para hindi kaagad kami makita from the hallway.
